%X La variada y rica documentación conservada sobre la administración de enfermos permite conocer los distintos procedimientos de ingreso, los intervinientes en el diagnóstico y las tipologías documentales que conforman los expedientes de los dementados, compuestos en su mayoría por certificaciones de autoridades eclesiásticas, civiles y sanitarias a las que acompañaban informaciones y traslados notariales de testificaciones en las que se recogían declaraciones de familiares y vecinos, con cuyos testimonios el administrador y el médico decidían si el ingreso era preceptivo. The varied and rich documentation preserved on the administration of the sick allows us to learn about the different admission procedures, the people involved in the diagnosis and the types of documents that make up the files of the sick, most of which are made up of certifications from ecclesiastical, civil and health authorities, accompanied by information and notarial transfers of testimonies in which statements from relatives and neighbours were recorded, with whose testimonies the administrator and the doctor decided whether the admission was necessary.
