RT Journal Article T1 Una investigación cualitativa en busca de la diversidad de lógicas de actuación: la prueba del VIH en HSH A1 Jociles Rubio, María Isabel A1 Villaamil Pérez, Fernando A1 Lores Masip, Fernando AB This paper is supported by a socio-anthropological study focused on a sample of HIV test made in Madrid among homosexual men, in order to explore why this kind of population refuses or delays making HIV analyses. From a practical point of view, we try to generate new approach designs to make these social actors change their minds, facing the tests. During the field work we detect five manners to react in relation the HIV epidemic, labeled as: prevention, typical gay, isolation, self-confident, and survival. Each of one of these categories has been understood interlinking the strategies used to access (or not) to the HIV test with the cultural frame meanings and the social conditions in which these strategies are generated and carried out.
