AB El objetivo del artículo es analizar los espacios de acogida y hospitalidad a personas solicitantes de asilo y refugiadas en España desde una perspectiva antropológica feminista y de género. En el asilo orbitan categorías complejas que forman parte importante del léxico de la ayuda humanitaria, con particular énfasis en el ámbito del refugio. Entre estas, asumen especial relevancia las categorías de acogida y hospitalidad. Si bien es cierto que son cada vez más las investigaciones en los estudios de refugiados con una perspectiva feminista y de género, en el debate sobre acogida y hospitalidad resultan (a nivel nacional e internacional) todavía escasos. Partiendo del trabajo etnográfico del caso de estudio realizado en la ciudad de Madrid durante los años 2014-2019, se presentan los resultados del análisis etnográfico de los distintos espacios de acogida y cómo estos están moldeados por el sistema patriarcal en el mantenimiento de las desigualdades entre hombres y mujeres.
AB The objective of the article is to analyse the spaces of reception and hospitality for asylum seekers and refugees in Spain from a feminist and gender anthropological perspective. Complex categories that form an important part of the lexicon of humanitarian aid orbit around asylum, with particular emphasis on the area of refuge. Among these, the categories of welcome and hospitality are particularly relevant. While it is true that there is a growing body of research in refugee studies from a feminist and gender perspective, it is still rare (at national and international level) in the debate on reception and hospitality. Based on the ethnographic case study carried out in the city of Madrid during the years 2014-2019, the results of the ethnographic analysis of the different reception spaces and how they are shaped by the patriarchal system in the maintenance of inequalities between men and women will be presented.
