RT Journal Article T1 On the self-torque on an extended classical charged-particle A1 Fernández-Rañada, Antonio AB The effect of the radiation reaction on the motion of an extended classical charged particle in a magnetic field is investigated. The expression of the self-torque is obtainedand it is shown that there are radiationless self-sustained oscillations but no runaways. An application is made to the Hydrogen atom.
