AB Este artículo se centra en la argumentación y defensa de las siguientes dos hipótesis: en primer lugar, sostengo que generar una red no implica necesariamente crear vínculos y, en segundo término, argumento que no toda forma de intercambio construye un tejido social. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo, este artículo se articula en tres ejes. En primer lugar, el artículo atiende a la relación entre capitalismo industrial e hilatura a través del texto de Engels La condición de la clase obrera en Inglaterra. En segundo término, se analiza la performance Baba antropofágica de Lygia Clark, la cual será relacionada con la teoría del actor-red de Bruno Latour. A continuación, se atiende a tres fábulas en femenino para plantear algunas cuestiones ético-estéticas en torno a la noción de trabajo en red: los mitos de Penélope, Aracne y Ariadna. El artículo se cierra con la propuesta de seis prescripciones que tratan de reelaborar las nociones de red y tejido social.
AB This article focuses on the argumentation and defence of the following two theses: firstly, I argue that generating a network does not necessarily imply creating a social link, and secondly, I defend that not every form of exchange produces a social network. In order to develop this issue this article is divided in three main paragraphs. Firstly, I analyse the relation between industrial capitalism and spinning attending to Engels ́ text The Condition of the Working Class in England. Secondly I pay attention to Lygia Clark’s performance Baba antropofágica, which is going to be related to Bruno Latour’s actor-network theory. Thirdly, I attend to three Greek tales in order to suggest some ethical and esthetical questions on the meaning of networking. I am referring to the myths of Penelope, Arachne and Ariadne. Finally, this article proposes six prescriptions, which try to draw up again the meaning of network and social fabric.
