%X The vegetation of ultramafics soils throughout the California state landscapes are summarized. Most important features related with the biogeographical distribution, structure, dynamics, floristic composition and related data of the main vegetation types are given and considered. Two appendices (taxonomic and syntaxonomic) complete this contribution; taxonomic appendix includes some nomenclatural proposals for the California flora.
