RT Conference Proceedings T1 Integration and Testing of Optical Instrumentation for Space Applications A1 González Fernández, Luis M. A1 Pastor Sempere, Carmen A1 Belenguer Dávila, Tomás A1 Arrazola, David A1 Fernández, Marianela A1 González, Concha AB Space optics is present in almost all instruments embarked in spatial missions. Among others large-aperture long-focal length optical systems, spectrometers and visible/IR cameras are common instruments. Operation in the hostile spatial environment requires an exhaustive on-ground integration and verification campaign where optical, electro-optical and radiometric performances shall be verified. Determination of suitable facilities, means, support equipments and process are fundamental for the mission success. A review of INTA experience and capabilities in this field are presented.
