%T Produção científica e inovação tecnológica nos países integrantes do MERCOSUL: uma análise cientométrica

%X Esta pesquisa objetiva analisar a produção científica e inovação tecnológica no âmbito dos países do MERCOSUL, no período de 2009 a 2013. Busca apontar, de forma específica: os temas pesquisados; investigar a força das colaborações científicas, por meio do estudo das coautorias entre os países do bloco e os demais países; apontar os possíveis desafios advindos das políticas que impactaram o MERCOSUL e incrementaram a colaboração intrablocos e com outros países; e levantar as tipologias de patentes depositadas pelos países membros do bloco. Como procedimento de pesquisa, encontraram-se na base Scopus 410 artigos na temática em estudo, utilizando-se os seguintes termos de busca: bibliometr* OR scientometr* OR informetr* OR webometr* OR patentometr* OR "scientific collaboration" OR co-authorship OR "citation analysis" OR co-citat* OR "impact factor" OR "h index" OR "bradford'slaw" OR "zipf´slaw" OR obsolescence OR “scientificpolicy”. Ainda se fez a triagem por “affiliation country”, utilizando-se os países que compõem o MERCOSUL.Para levantamento das patentes e inovações, utilizou-se a plataforma WIPO IP Statistics Data Center. Identificaram-se os temas mais frequentes, por meio das palavras-chave, verificando as coautorias intrapaíses do MERCOSUL e entre estes e os demais do mundo, por meio da construção da rede entre países. Em relação aos temas, concluiu-se que as publicações dos autores envolvem uma amplitude de temas, incluindo aqueles mais contemplados também em âmbito internacional. Em relação à colaboração, os países do bloco fazem coautoria com outros países, porém não entre si. Em relação ao registro de patentes, o Brasil é destaque no grupo. Sugere-se a extensão deste estudo para outras áreas do conhecimento, para que se possa ter uma conclusão mais consistente em relação às coautorias do bloco MERCOSUL.
%X This research aims to analyze the scientific production and technological innovation in the context of MERCOSUR member states, from 2009 to 2013. Specifically, the study aims to point the researched themes, to investigate the scientific collaborations, through the study of co-authorships among the bloc and other countries, and to point challenges from the policies that impacted MERCOSUR and improved inter-bloc collaboration and collaboration with other countries. Finally, we aim to search the patent typologies by member state of the bloc. As research procedure, 410 articles were retrieved at Scopus database on the topic of study, using the following search terms: bibliometr* OR scientometr* OR informetr* OR webometr* OR patentometr* OR "scientific collaboration" OR "co-authorship" OR "citation analysis" OR co-citat* OR "impact factor" OR "h index" OR "bradford'slaw" OR "zipf'slaw" OR "obsolescence" OR "scientific policy". In addition, filter by "affiliation country", using the member states of MERCOSUR was applied. WIPO IP Statistics Data Center was used for searching patents and innovations. We identified the most frequent themes, through the keywords, verifying co-authorship inter-member state and between these ones and other countries worldwide, by building a network among countries. In relation to the themes, we concluded that the publications of authors involve a broad range of themes, including the most contemplated internationally. Regarding collaboration, the member states of the bloc co-author with other countries, but not among themselves. As for patent registration, Brazil is highlighted in the group. We suggest that this study is extended to other fields of knowledge in order to obtain a more consistent conclusion in relation to co-authorships in MERCOSUR bloc.
