Una colección de prácticas de escritura desde tácticas humorísticas para desplazarse por la investigación artística explora las relaciones entre la investigación artística y el modelo de escritura presente en el contexto académico a partir de una serie de prácticas textuales que toman el humor como herramienta de activación. La incorporación de los estudios artísticos al ámbito académico a finales del siglo XX supuso el inicio de un cuestionamiento disciplinar en torno a lo que se ha denominado “investigación artística”, un debate que continúa vigente en la actualidad. Este proceso ha implicado continuas adaptaciones dirigidas a homologar los procesos propios de las prácticas artísticas con los formatos y criterios de validación que rigen la institución académica. Aunque en términos generales se acepta que las artes poseen un potencial como vehículo de conocimiento, su proceder, ligado a la particularidad de la práctica, genera fricciones y desajustes respecto al modelo científico predominante, heredero de las ideas positivistas que aún persiguen la producción de un conocimiento tasable según criterios de objetividad y verificabilidad...
AB Moving texts, interrupting meanings. A collection of writing practices from humorous tactics to navigate artistic research explores the relationship between artistic research and the writing model present in the academic context, through a series of textual practices that employ humour as a tool for activation. The incorporation of artistic studies into academia at the end of the 20th century marked the beginning of a disciplinary questioning of what has been termed “artistic research”,a debate that continues to this day. This incorporation has involved a continuous process of adaptation, attempting to standardise the processes inherent in artistic practice to the formats and validation criteria that govern academic institutions. Although it is generally accepted that the arts hold potential as a vehicle for knowledge, their approach, tied to the particular nature of practice, produces frictions and mismatches with the prevailing scientific model, an heir to positivist ideas that continue to pursue the production of knowledge measurable by criteria of objectivity and verifiability...
