%X La obra “El Protagonismo de las Mujeres en los Museos” se trata de una recopilación de investigaciones con perspectiva de género sobre el papel que juegan las mujeres en los mismos. Se contempla el análisis como transversal, es decir, no se centra solo en la mujer como sujeto de artista o pensadora dentro de los museos, sino que atraviesa todos los cargos que desempeñan. La obra se divide en dos temáticas fundamentales; los museos de ciencias y los museos de arte e historia. En dichas temáticas pasan por tres cuestiones fundamentales: La historia de las mujeres en los museos, la necesidad de una actuación social de los museos en cuanto a la educación, y por último la realidad actual de los museos. Centrando sus conclusiones en una educación basada en la equidad, dando respuesta a las necesidades que surgen en museos concretos como el Museo del Prado o el Museo del Traje a través de una museología crítica con perspectiva de género.
%X The book "The Protagonism of Women in Museums" is a compilation of research with a gender perspective on the role that women play in them. The analysis is considered as transversal, that is, it does not focus only on women as the subject of an artist or thinker within museums, but it goes through all the positions they hold. The work is divided into two fundamental themes; science museums and art and history museums. In these themes, they go through three fundamental questions: The history of women in museums, the need for social action by museums in terms of education, and finally the current reality of museums. Focusing its conclusions on an education based on equity, responding to the needs that arise in specific museums such as the Prado Museum or the Costume Museum through a critical museology with a gender perspective.
