%X El periodo de ocupación francesa supone el último impulso de la Ilustración y con la resolución del conflicto, el final de la misma. Se expone el análisis de documentación de archivo con datos sobre profesionales vinculados a la Escuela de Veterinaria o al Real Tribunal del Protoalbeitarato durante el periodo, su implicación con el gobierno francés, motivos de actuación y colaboración con el mismo. Se muestran las principales acusaciones vertidas contra los directores y profesores de la Real Escuela de Veterinaria (1808-1814) y se hace una aproximación a las actividades perseguidas en el gobierno de Fernando VII llevadas a cabo durante este periodo.
%X The period of French occupation of Spain represents the last boost to Spanish Enlightenment and also marks its end. This paper puts forward an analysis of archival documents containing details about professionals involved with the Royal School of Veterinary and the Royal Court of Protoalbeitarato during this period, their links with the French government of Spain, and the reasons for their collaboration. It describes the main accusations levelled against the directors and teachers of the Royal School of Veterinary (1808-1814), and discusses the activities which, persecuted under the rule of Ferdinand VII, were undertaken during this period.
