AB En las dos últimas décadas se ha producido la toma de conciencia del problema social y de salud pública que supone la violencia contra la mujer. Esto ha generado un incremento de estudios dirigidos fundamentalmente a la prevención e intervención en el ámbito de violencia contra la mujer en la relación de pareja. Sin embargo, aun teniendo cada vez más en cuenta la importancia de aspectos sociales en la etiología de dicha violencia, no se cuenta con suficientes instrumentos de medida que permitan objetivar la influencia de variables sociales en este problema. Del mismo modo, se describen otras formas de violencia más sutiles o encubiertas hacia las mujeres y se plantea que pueden suponer un factor de riesgo en la victimización de la mujer...
AB In the last two decades there has been an awareness of the social and public health problem that violence against women supposes. This has generated an increase in studies aimed primarily at prevention and intervention in intimate partner violence. However, even considering the importance of social aspects in the etiology of such violence, there are not enough measurement instruments that allow objectifying the influence of social variables in this problem. In the same way, other more subtle or covert forms of violence towards women are described and it is suggested that they can be a risk factor in the victimization of women...
