AB Muchas son las amenazas a la seguridad internacional, pero sin duda una de las más importantes es el crimen organizado. De todas las modalidades del crimen organizado es el tráfico de seres humanos, especialmente con fines de explotación sexual uno de los más perversos, pues suponen una perturbación de los derechos humanos y un riesgo a la seguridad. Analizar las características de este tipo de criminalidad, los factores originarios y propiciatorios, los flujos y redes y los instrumentos para su erradicación en el ámbito latinoamericano y europeo resulta necesario para conocer las particularidades en ambas regiones y llevar a cabo la implementación de medidas que contribuyan a su erradicación.
