AB This study aimed to validate the Spanish version of the COVID-19 Student Stress Questionnaire (CSSQ), a 7-item toolassessing COVID-19-related stressors among university students, namely, Relationships and Academic Life, Isolation, andFear of Contagion. Participants were 331 Spanish university students. Factor analyses sustained the three factor solution ofthe original tool. Data also revealed satisfactory convergent and discriminant validity, suitable internal consistency, andsignificant associations with psychological symptoms, as measured by the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised. The Spanishversion of the CSSQ represents a valid tool to be used in clinical settings to timely identify students at high psychological riskand to develop evidence-based interventions during/after the pandemic.

NO Este estudio tuvo como objetivo validar la versión española del Cuestionario de Estrés Estudiantil (CSSQ) COVID-19, una herramienta de 7 ítemsevaluar los factores estresantes relacionados con COVID-19 entre estudiantes universitarios, a saber, relaciones y vida académica, aislamiento yMiedo al contagio. Participaron 331 estudiantes universitarios españoles. Los análisis factoriales sustentaron la solución de tres factores dela herramienta original. Los datos también revelaron validez convergente y discriminante satisfactoria, consistencia interna adecuada yasociaciones significativas con síntomas psicológicos, según lo medido por la Lista de verificación de síntomas-90-revisada.
