%X El acercamiento de la ciencia es esencial en el fomento de la curiosidad del alumnado de educación infantil por su entorno. Este estudio tiene como objetivo describir el conocimiento científico del alumnado de EI sobre anatomía y canto de aves y la implicación del pensamiento visible en el desarrollo del pensamiento científico. La metodología es cualitativa y los participantes son 15 alumnos de un colegio público rural, su maestra-tutora y sus familias. Los resultados muestran que el alumnado parte de un conocimiento escaso de las aves y que gracias a la propuesta se promueve su interés por estas. Además, el enfoque de pensamiento fomenta el desarrollo de capacidades científicas. Así, este estudio concluye la necesidad de reforzar el conocimiento del entorno natural en EI para mejorar sus habilidades de pensamiento científico a través de propuestas basadas en el enfoque de pensamiento.
%X The integration of science is essential in fostering curiosity about the environment among early childhood education students. This study aims to describe the scientific knowledge of early childhood education students about the anatomy and songs of birds, as well as the involvement of visible thinking in the development of scientific thinking. The methodology is qualitative, and the participants are 15 students from a rural public school, their teacher, and their families. The results show that the students start with limited knowledge of birds and that the proposal promotes their interest. In addition, the thinking approach encourages the development of scientific skills. Thus, this study concludes that there is a need to reinforce knowledge of the environment in early childhood education in order to improve scientific thinking skills through proposals based on the thinking approach.
