AB La asistencia médica suele considerarse por el común de la doctrina como un servicio que debe estar a cargo de la economía del matrimonio, al margen de cuál sea su valor en relación con el nivel de vida de la familia. Sin embargo, los diferentes regímenes económico-matrimoniales solo contienen reglas especiales de responsabilidad por estas deudas en cuanto tengan un valor ordinario, según estas mismas circunstancias. Este trabajo analizará cómo encaja aquella opinión en cada uno de los regímenes económico-matrimoniales establecidos por el ordenamiento jurídico español y portugués.
AB The medical assistance is usually considered by most of the authors as a service that has to be supported by the economics of the marriage, independently of how much it costs in relation with the family’s standard of living. However, the different marital property systems only contain especial liability rules regarding these debts as long as they have an ordinary value, according to this parameter. This work will analyse how this opinion fits with each one of the marital property systems that are laid down by the Spanish and Portuguese law
