T1 El turismo estatal. La red de paradores como símbolo de lapolítica turística

AB El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal explicar el desarrollo de la primera cadena pública hotelera española, la red de Paradores, desde sus inicios al comienzo del siglo XX hasta la actualidad, focalizándose así en intentar exponer cómo esta cadena hotelera ha sido uno de los iconos más importantes durante todo el recorrido de la política turística española.Para ello, este análisis se acompaña de su propio contexto histórico y turístico, a la par que se detalla y explica cada uno de los organismos públicos por los que ha pasado la red, desde el Patronato Nacional de Turismo hasta la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo. Además, se explicarán en cada una de las fases históricas cómo eran los establecimientos de la red, su estética, sus características constructivas, las diferencias contraídas entre el sector privado, los motivos de su longevidad en el sector turístico y la importancia de determinados personajes como Vega-Inclán en el desarrollo de la red.
AB The main objective of this paper is to explain the development of the first Spanish public hotel chain, the network of Paradores, from its beginnings at the start of the 20th century to the present day, thus focusing on trying to explain how this hotel chain has become one of the most important icons throughout the course of Spanish tourismpolicy.To this end, this analysis is accompanied by its own historical and touristic context, as well as detailing and explaining each of the public bodies through which the network has passed, from the National Tourist Board to the Secretary of State for Tourism. In addition, each of the historical phases will explain what the establishments of the network were like, their aesthetics, their construction characteristics, the differences contracted between the private sector, the reasons for their longevity in the tourist sector and the importance of certain personalities such as Vega-Inclán in the development of the network.
