RT Journal Article T1 Programmable two-dimensional optical fractional Fourier processor A1 Rodrigo Martín-Romo, José Augusto A1 Alieva Krasheninnikova, Tatiana A1 Calvo Padilla, María Luisa AB A flexible optical system able to perform the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) almost in real time is presented. In contrast to other FRFT setups the resulting transformation has no additional scaling and phase factors depending on the fractional orders. The feasibility of the proposed setup is demonstrated experimentally for a wide range of fractional orders. The fast modification of the fractional orders, offered by this optical system, allows to implement various proposed algorithms for beam characterization, phase retrieval, information processing, etc. PB The Optical Society Of America SN 1094-4087 YR 2009 FD 2009-03-30 LK https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/44189 UL https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/44189 LA eng NO © 2009 Optical Society of America. The financial support of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation under projects TEC2005-02180, TEC2008-04105 and Santander-Complutense project PR-34/07-15914 are acknowledged.
