AB En el año 24 a.C. el emperador romano César Augusto ordenó al Prefecto de Egipto el inicio de una campaña militar para hacerse con el control de la rica Arabia Felix y de las importantes rutas comerciales que esta controlaba. En este artículo trataremos sobre las circunstancias que rodearon esta misión y su inesperado desenlace, los cuales condicionaron que desde Roma no se volviera a pensar en el dominio de esa región.
