A good practice A1 Lora Pablos, David A1 Contador, Israel A1 Pérez-Regadera Gómez, José Fermín A1 Gómez De La Cámara, Agustín Ramón AB The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve is a measure of discrimination ability used in diagnostic and prognostic research. The ROC plot is usually represented without additional information about decision thresholds used to generate the graph. In our article, we show that adding at least one or more informative cutoff points on the ROC graph facilitates the characterization of the test and the evaluation of the discriminatory capacities, which can result in more informed medical decisions. We use the rocreg and rocregplot commands. SN 1536-867X YR 2016 FD 2016-03 LK https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/115904 UL https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/115904 LA eng NO Lora, D. et al.
