AB Para localizar el antígrafo desde el que pudo trabajar el traductor de la versión castellana antigua del Decameron se enfoca un grupo de códices italianos que formarían una rama individualizada de la tradición manuscrita. Su excepcional sistema editorial consiste en la inserción de epígrafes apócrifos que dividen la «Introduzione alla Giornata I», antepuestos a los puntos donde Boccaccio, en su autógrafo, introdujo solo capitales. Su ubicación y su sistema de redacción en los códices y en la versión castellana son tan afines que no pueden ser casuales. Puede ser una nueva vía de estudio del códice y de la edición impresa.
AB In order to locate the antigraph used by the translator of the old Spanish version of The Decameron, a group of Italian codices that would form an individualized branch of the manuscript tradition needs to be considered. Their exceptional editorial system consists of the insertion of apocryphal summaries dividing the «Introduzione alla Giornata I» above the points where Boccaccio, in his autograph, introduced only capitals. Their locationand their writing system in the codices and in the old Spanish version are so similar that they must not be a coincidence. It might be a new way of studying the codex and the print edition.
