The aim of this chapter is to show how the four elements referred to in the title (individual, education, masses and democracy) are structured in the work of John Dewey (1859-1952) and in what aspects this structuring occurs differently in Ortega, particularly in the works that the Spaniard created during his first navigation.
El objetivo de este capítulo es mostrar cómo los cuatro elementos a que se refiere el título (individuo, educación, masas y democracia) se vertebran en la obra de John Dewey (1859-1952) y en qué aspectos esa vertebración se produce de un modo diferente en Ortega, particularmente en las obras que el español elaboró en su primera navegación.
