En este trabajo vamos a ver como el patronazgo del Cardenal Cisneros en la producción libraría castellana se refleja en el uso de emblemas que le identifican en la portada de diferentes libros. Lo llamativo de este hecho es que dichos emblemas en forma de escudo heráldico van a mostrar muy
distintas imágenes, que vamos a intentar explicar de forma detallada, así como su uso fuera de España y su mantenimiento más allá de su muerte en su principal creación, la Universidad Complutense.
