00925njm 22002777a 4500 dc Molina Villar, Ana Rosario author 2026-05-04 OBJETIVO: Los objetivos de esta serie de trabajos fueron (1) revisar la evidencia más reciente publicada tras el Workshop EFP/AAP de 2012 "Periodontitis y enfermedades sistémicas" sobre la asociación entre periodontitis y enfermedades cardiovasculares (Estudio·1), (2) explorar la asociación entre periodontitis y riesgo de ECV estimado con SCORE (mortalidad a 10 años por ECV) en una muestra representativa de la población española trabajadora (Estudio#2), e (3) investigar el efecto de la terapia periodontal no quirúrgica en pacientes con periodontitis y ECV establecida sobre variables subrogadas de ECV y marcadores serológicos de inflamación sistémica y activación endotelial (Estudio#3).
