Los saberes comunicativos se están ampliando con nuevos conocimientos sobre el origen y la naturaleza de la comunicación El texto describe los hallazgos científicos y los avances teóricos que están en curso. Y analiza las transformaciones en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de los estudios de la Comunicación para incorporar esos saberes. Muestra que esta renovación permite situar los estudios de la comunicación en el espacio de los conocimientos científicos. Y que otorga a los docentes y alumnos, un status académico especifico, mejor definido y más valorado.
Faculty members and students of the UNAM who do me the honor of granting me this academic recognition and of attending the seminar dedicated to my theoretical work: Since so many universitypeople have come together, let me in this introduction to the seminar sessions, deal with the teaching and the study of communication theory. Specifically, I will refer to the changes that are occurring in their teaching and learning in order to incorporate new findings and theoretical advances that are underway. I will show you that this renewal allows to place communication studies in the space of scientific knowledge. And that the new scientific status provides teachers and students a better defined and more valued academic status.
