Este artículo tiene como objetivo difundir y dar a conocer los procesos de inserción social y laboral de las personas privadas de libertad. Prestando especial atención a los protagonistas del proceso y a los programas en medio abierto, externos a prisión, que, desde el Tercer Sector, gestionan diversas organizaciones con el fin de facilitar la vuelta a la vida en libertad de estas personas, en un particular contexto de crisis que está atenazando las políticas públicas orientadas a mantener la cohesión social. A través de la captación y el análisis de los discursos desplegados en cinco grupos de discusión y de diferentes conceptos y supuestos teóricos propios de las ciencias sociales, hemos definido los principales actores sociales, escenarios y estructuras de interacción que confluyen en este proceso de reinserción, para, posteriormente, examinar y contextualizar aspectos de este proceso con importantes implicaciones y derivas sociales reveladorasThis paper deals with the social and labor reintegration processes of ex-offenders, emphasizing the social representations and collective experiences of the main characters of that process. To that end, we have carried out five discussion groups that have allowed us to go into their culture and symbolic representations. On the one side, with people on parole and ex-offenders who are attempting to reintegrate into society and are being supported by Programs designed to help them. On the other side, with professionals who work in organizations of the third sector managing Programs that deal with these persons. This paper, following the discourses developed in the groups and diverse concepts and theoretical assumptions, has allowed us, among other aspects, to define the main social actors, sceneries and structures of interaction that converge in the social reintegration process.
