Las características de los hedge funds o fondos de inversión alternativa propician no sólo unos rendimientos superiores que los fondos tradicionales, sino también su estrategia se concentra en una participación activa en las sociedades en las que invierten. El objeto de este trabajo es, en primer lugar, analizar la estrategia activista y, en segundo lugar, señalar los aspectos fundamentales en torno a la limitación de la influencia de la inversión por la Directiva 2011/61/11. ABSTRACT: The main features of hedge funds or alternative investment funds helps not only to get higer returns than traditional funds, but also their strategy concentrates on an active participation in the companies in which they invest. The aim of this paper is, firstly, to analyze the activist strategy and, secondly, to establish the key issues related with the restriction of the impact of the investment of hedge funds by Directive 2011/61/11
