Approach to the figure of the Venetian man of letters Lodovico Dolce (ca. 1510-1568) through the works kept at the Biblioteca Histórica Marqués de Valdecilla, paying special attention to his Dialogo della memoria (1st ed. 1562) and to the connections between image and text present in it, which are also traced in some of his other publications.
