El turismo social comprende diferentes iniciativas gubernamentales, de asociaciones no lucrativas y privadas,
para ofrecer vacaciones a bajo coste a personas que de otra forma no podrían tenerlas. Paralelamente, el turismo
social pretende estimular la actividad económica e incrementar las oportunidades de empleo durante la
temporada baja. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar y proponer un modelo conceptual de satisfacción en el
turismo social utilizando un enfoque de ecuaciones estructurales en el Programa de Vacaciones para Mayores del
IMSERSO.
ABSTRACT: Social tourism encompasses different initiatives governmental, non-commercial and private to promote holidays
of low-cost to persons that would not otherwise have them. Meantime social tourism aims stimulating the
economic activity and to increase employment opportunities during low season. The aim of this paper is to
analyze and to propose a conceptual model of satisfaction in social tourism by using a structural equation
modelling approach applied to the IMSERSO Holiday Program for Senior.
