Esta investigación trata de rescatar y aportar nuevos datos sobre la obra de Josefa Amar y Borbón; una de las primeras voces específicamente femeninas dentro de la literatura española dieciochesca. Para ello, se realiza un estudio que pone de relieve las principales transformaciones que tuvieron lugar en la centuria ilustrada en relación al papel de la mujer en el espacio público y privado con el objetivo de poder entender la figura y obra de esta escritora dentro de su contexto. Una vez realizado, el trabajo culmina con el análisis de los textos que versan sobre la religión, ya que son uno de los mejores ejemplos de la vasta cultura, el espíritu crítico y la gran modernidad que subyacen bajo las letras de esta incansable ilustrada.
This research try to recover and provide new dates about Josefa Amar y Borbón´s work; one of the first voices specifically femenines in eighteenth spanish literature. In order to achieve that, a study have been done to discover the main transformations happened in enlightenment century related to woman´s role in the different spaces with the objective to understand the work and the figure of this writer in her context. Once the study has been done, the research finishes with the analysis of her texts about religion, because these are one of the best examples about the enormous culture, strong critical spirit and the modernity that our enlightened and untiring woman has.
