Y en ese quehacer “cotidiano”, que ha funcionado casi de la misma forma a lo largo de la Historia, se desarrolla una parte significativa de nuestras sociedades. En este caso, el posicionamiento a la hora de mirar ese lugar, desde la comodidad de la distancia, se asemeja a la del sujeto-pasivo anestesiado de imágenes, a la del espectador que suplanta la acción por la mirada, a un “voyeur” que no obtiene placer con sus actos.
