En la Biblioteca Histórica Marqués de Valdecilla se conserva un extraordinario repertorio de obras del célebre polígrafo barroco, Athanasius Kircher (1602-1680). Veintitrés de estos libros, como veremos, se han podido identificar como los ejemplares que formaron parte de la librería o biblioteca de Juan José de Austria (1629-1679). Junto a ellos, y formando parte del mismo conjunto, también ha sido posible localizar otro libro del jesuita alemán en la Real Biblioteca de Madrid.
In the Marqués de Valdecilla Historical Library there is a significant repertorio of works by de famous Baroque polygraph, Athanasius Kircher (1602-1680). Tweinty-three of these books, as we will see, have been identified as the copies that were part of the Juan José de Austria (1629-1679) library. Along with them, and forming part of the same group, it has also been posible to locate another book by de german jesuit at the Royal Library in Madrid.
