El acceso a la educación dentro del Sistema Penitenciario español ha supuesto un gran cambio que no solo ha permitido la alfabetización de miles de personas privadas de libertad, sino también la preparación laboral y social para su posible reinserción. Estos cambios han hecho posible que se de importancia tanto a la educación formal (educación básica, idiomas, etc.), como a la no formal (talleres de habilidades, ocio y tiempo libre). Con respecto a la educación no formal, podemos destacar la labor fundamental de la educación social; todavía no reconocida dentro del sistema penitenciario, con todo tipo de talleres y proyectos dirigidos a la promoción de habilidades sociales como es la resolución de conflictos. Trabajar la resolución es especialmente importante en este contexto, ya que los conflictos entre internos son muy frecuentes, y gran parte de ellos no tienen las habilidades necesarias para resolverlos de una forma dialogada y no violenta. Actualmente la resolución se trabaja mediante la mediación penitenciaria, en la que el educador ejerce la figura de mediador. Aunque esta es una herramienta eficaz, existen otras como el teatro, concretamente el teatro foro, cuyos objetivos van destinados a conocer las emociones; personales y ajenas, y aprender a expresarlas para así poder interpretar situaciones de conflictos reales en las que sean capaces de mostrar todos sus sentimientos y entender al mismo tiempo la posición del resto de personas. Por ello, trabajar la resolución de conflictos mediante el teatro foro, puede ser una herramienta muy eficaz que no se centre sólo en el objetivo citado anteriormente, sino también en trabajar la interioridad de cada persona, permitiendo ser conscientes del papel que cada uno puede desempeñar en un conflicto, y las diferentes formas de solucionarlo con diálogo y sin violencia. A lo largo de este trabajo vamos a introducirnos en esta técnica de resolución de conflictos, demostrando la importancia de la educación social en este contexto para la realización del proyecto que aquí desarrollo. Access to education within the Spanish prison system has been a great change that has allowed not only the literacy of thousands of women and men deprived of their freedom, but also the fact of providing job training for re-entry into a changing society. These changes have enabled both formal education (basic education, languages, etc.) and non-formal one (skills workshops, leisure time). With regard to non-formal education, we highlight the crucial role of social education; still not recognized within the prison system, with all kinds of workshops and projects aimed at promoting social skills such as the resolution of conflicts. Working on this resolution is especially important in this context, as the conflict between inmates are common, and a lot of them do not have the necessary skills to deal with them through dialogue and non-violence . Nowadays the resolution is being carried on through the prison mediation, in which the educator has the role of prison mediator. Although this is an effective tool, there are others such as the theater, namely theater forum, whose aims are intended to be aware of their emotions and learn to express them in order to interpret real situations of conflict in which the person is able to show all their feelings and understand at the same time the point of view of other people. Therefore, dealing with conflict resolution through forum theater can be a very effective tool not only focused on this, but also on understanding and working emotions and inner feelings of each person, allowing them to be aware of the role that each one plays in a conflict, and the different ways to solve it through dialogue ,without violence Throughout this paper we are going to introduce this conflict resolution technique, trying to prove the importance of social education in this context for the development of projects like this.
