Su objetivo es mostrar la relevancia y actualidad de este movimiento internacional que comenzó a principios del siglo XX, y que ha influido e impactado enormemente en las escuelas, y en la enseñanza del arte, la arquitectura y el diseño. Nuestro primer objetivo es pedagógico, mostrar, exhibir, sacar a la luz una determinada práctica, una forma de hacer artística. Los comisarios somos artistas y profesores, Antonio Rabazas (Anto Rabazas) y Jorge Varas, en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Wieslaw Luczaj (Mark Starel) en la Jan Kochanowski University en Kielce, Polonia.This catalogue contains the work of 41 contemporary artists from various nationalities who work in geometric abstraction. It aims to show the relevance and timeliness of this international movement that started in the early 20th Century, and which has greatly influenced and impacted schools, and the teaching of art, architecture, and design. Our first objective is educational; to show, display and shed light on a specific practice, an artistic way of working.
