This chapter concerns evidentiality in Basque, focusing on the expressions corresponding to the following crosslinguistic hyperlexemes: the inferential evidentials MUST and SEEM, the reportive evidentials SAY, (BE) LIKE and ACCORDING TO, and the visual evidential SEE.
