Pero también son transmisores de ideas, mentalidades o creencias, y mucho más porque también se convierten en delimitadores sociales, diferenciadores de género o creadores de estructuras cosmogónicas. En el presente trabajo se ha querido ahondar en la fuerte dimensión histórica y simbólica que presenta el color en la antigüedad, y en especial el amarillo ya que es el gran ausente en los estudios monográficos sobre el color. Para ello se ha estructurado el contenido en tres núcleos temáticos: color-religión, color-materialidad y color-ritoColours have always been present in history.
