This work has been partly supported by DGICYT (Project PB93-1256).The influence of oxygen content of YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x) ceramic samples on the cathodoluminescence emission has been studied in the scanning electron microscope. No luminescent band has been related to the presence of native oxygen vacancies in untreated samples.
