The corresponding mixing probability distribution function is presented. This result is used to design a Bayesian hierarchical model and an algorithm to generate samples of the posterior distribution; these are applied to a problem of Quantitative Genetics.engMultivariate exponential power distributions as mixtures of normal distributions with Bayesian applicationsjournal articlehttps//doi.org/10.1080/03610920701762754http://www.informaworld.com/smpp/title~content=t713597238~db=allopen access519.22Elliptically contoured distributionElliptical distributionMultivariate exponential power distributionScale mixture of normal distributionsStable distributionHierarchical Bayesian modelMontecarlo methodsEstadística matemática (Matemáticas)1209 Estadística
