Asimismo, se propone dar a conocer algunas novelas medievalistas del ámbito ibérico que evidencian la potencialidad de dichas herramientas analítico-críticas. A partir de la fértil inestabilidad semántica de lo «queer», se pretende reflexionar así sobre los retos y las oportunidades que ofrece esta óptica excéntrica en el debate sobre el Medievalismo literario.ABSTRACT: This paper introduces some of the main contributions of queer literary theory and criticism, developed in particular in the United States of America during the beginning of the 90s. Likewise, this work will showcase some Iberian medievalist novels that might help explaining the potential of said analytical-critical tools.
