In particular, it describes and highlights the interest and difficulty in developing chiral simple (small and non-aggregated) organic molecules able to emit left- or right-circularly polarized light efficiently, the efforts realized up to now to reach this challenging objective, and the most significant milestones achieved to date. General guidelines for the preparation of these interesting molecules are also presented.engCircularly Polarized Luminescence from Simple Organic Moleculesjournal articlehttp://dx.doi.org/10.1002/chem.201501178http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/wol1/doi/10.1002/chem.201501178/abstracthttps://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4567477/open access543.426547.1535.37ChiralityChromophoresCircularly polarized luminescenceFluorescenceSmall organic moleculesMaterialesQuímica orgánica (Química)3312 Tecnología de Materiales2306 Química Orgánica
