Benjamin para dar cuenta de la interrelación entre memoria, recuerdo, duelo y conciencia. Más allá del motivo alegórico que representa el ángel, y que se refiere tanto a la dimensión catastrófica de los procesos históricos como a las posibilidades inmanentes de redención, el ángel y su posición con respecto a las ruinas dejadas atrás, son síntoma de otra cosa: de otra forma de entender –y encararse- a la historia y a sus espectros.The article presents a proposal of a psychoanalytic reading of the known IX thesis about angel of history of W. Benjamin to realize the interrelationship between memory, duel and conscience.
