Depending on the type of intervention, fluoroscopic imaging is not always the most suitable imaging technique to obtain sufficient anatomical information. Thus, echocardiography plays a very important role in intraprocedural monitoring during percutaneous coronary intervention, especially in the treatment of perivalvular leaks, MitraClip device implantation, and left atrial appendage closure. The EchoNavigator system (Philips) is a recently introduced innovative tool, which automatically fuses X-ray fluoroscopic and echocardiographic images in real time. The movement of the X-ray arc is synchronized with the transesophageal probe of the echocardiogram and the different echocardiographic projections are sliced according to the position of the X-ray source.engEco-X Ray Fusion in Left Atrial Appendage Closurejournal articlehttps://doi.org/ 10.1016/j.rec.2016.05.020https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0300893216303037?via%3Dihubrestricted accessCardiología3205.01 Cardiología
