It has simplified the automated search for candidates in social networks, making it possible to filter a large amount of information to find the ideal candidate. It has also made it possible to predict drop-out rates, automate selection processes and allow applicants to participate remotely in training, optimizing human resources management and increasing business productivity. Specifically, during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent years, scientific production in this area has experienced a remarkable growth since 2019, with India being the most involved country and Computer Science and Business, Management and Accounting being the main research areas of interest.
