It was ulcerated, covered by a yellowish infected membrane, and painful. The histologic examination showed a neoplastic proliferation of palisading cells distributed irregularly in cords. The tumor was diagnosed as an ameloblastic carcinoma because of the histologic signs of malignancy, the aggressive behavior, and the absence of distal metastasis. This is the first description of an ameloblastic carcinoma in a dog.engAttribution 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Maxillary Ameloblastic Carcinoma in an Alaskan Malamutejournal article1544-2217https://doi.org/10.1354/vp.44-1-8417197628https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17197628/restricted access61Ameloblastic carcinomaAmeloblastomaCanineOdontogenicCiencias Biomédicas32 Ciencias Médicas
