The Siberian hamster (SH) has a similar appearance to common hamsters such as the European hamster (Cricetus cricetus) and the golden hamster (Mesocricetus auratus), although it belongs to a different genus. The fact that its main allergen shows no IgE cross-reactivity with allergens from European or golden hamsters [2] hampers diagnosis, because there is currently no standardized commercial extract available for SH. Clinical data on allergy to SH are relatively scarce [3-5]. We describe the clinical characteristics of patients sensitized to SH.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Clinical Characteristics of Patients Sensitized to Siberian Hamsterjournal articlehttps//doi.org/10.18176/jiaci.0022https://www.jiaci.org/summary/vol26-issue2-num1324open access616-056.3Siberian HamsterRodent allergyPet allergyMedicinaAlergología32 Ciencias Médicas3207 Patología3207.01 Alergias
