Esto permite distinguir tipos de sentimientos, tanto positivos como negativos, que se diferencian cualitativamente por su mayor o menor hondura, desde el placer y el dolor sensibles hasta la felicidad y la desesperación, pasando por la alegría y la tristeza, etc. Aclararemos el modo en que Scheler justifica fenomenológicamente esta teoría, acudiendo en especial al dato de la mayor o menor «intimidad» subjetiva del sentimiento. Finalmente, se ofrecerá una primera evaluación de la crítica que hizo Michel Henry de la doctrina de la estratificación emocional, señalando algunas imprecisiones en su exposición de la misma y los problemas entrañados en su propia alternativa.In his description of human emotional life, Max Scheler included the idea that it is stratified and that every feeling is experienced as belonging to a certain level of emotional depth. This makes it possible to distinguish types of feeling, both positive and negative, which are qualitatively differentiated by their greater or lesser depth, ranging from sensitive pleasure and pain to happiness and despair, including joy and sadness, etc. We will clarify the way in which Scheler justifies this theory phenomenologically, taking into special consideration the fact of the greater or lesser subjective “intimacy” of feelings.
