La novela conecta la situación actual de la mujer en la España del siglo XXI con la de la mujer española de la Transición a través de su protagonista, Catalina Griñán, que lleva a cabo un documental sobre las actrices del Destape. Desde una perspectiva de género, se prestará atención a las deconstrucciones de la femineidad hegemónica en el texto.ABSTRACT: This article aims to analyse Marta Sanz’s novel «Daniela Astor y la caja negra» (2013) as a protest-text, situated in the historic moment of the reform draft of the abortion law of 2010 presented by Alberto Ruiz Gallardón in 2012. The novel links the present-day situation of women in twenty-first century Spain with that of the women in the Spanish Transition through its protagonist, Catalina Griñán, who records a documentary about the former Destape movie actresses.
