The resulting nonlinear optimization problem is solved classically by a Gauss-Newton method based on successive linearizations of the forward operator. A linearized a posteriori analysis is possible in a Bayesian framework. In this presentation, we compare the results obtained by such technique, the ones obtained by a linear programming based method and the others by a global optimization approachfraQuantifying Uncertainties in Seismic Tomographyconference paperhttp://meetings.siam.org/sess/dsp_talk.cfm?p=16527http://www.siam.org/meetings/gs05/index.htmopen access519.8:550.34Sismología (Geología)Investigación operativa (Matemáticas)2507.05 Sismología y Prospección Sísmica1207 Investigación Operativa
