Nuestro equipo de trabajo (docentes, técnicos y cuatro alumnos de cursos superiores) ha realizado diferentes actividades con el objetivo final de MEJORAR las habilidades de comunicación del alumno y la experiencia adquirida mediante diferentes metodologías: una jornada tipo Congreso, un blog científico, visitas guiadas por los técnicos y varios juegos científicos. Los resultados muestran una alta participación e implicación del alumnado: en el Congreso el 77% del alumnado ha presentado alguna aportación como póster o vídeo de modo voluntario, y en las visitas y juego que eran voluntarias, la participación fue del 99%. Con estas actividades los alumnos han mejorado sus competencias en cuanto a inglés científico, habilidades de comunicación y su proyección científica.The practical character of the subject “Integrated Laboratory of Biochemistry I“ corresponding to second year of Biochemistry Degree, allows a close insight into the student’s work and learning process. These characteristics make this subject a good candidate to carry out new learning methodologies that improve the student’s competences and abilities. Our work team (Teachers, Technicians and four third-year Students of the Degree) have performed different activities with the final objective of developing the student’s communication skills and boosting student´s learning achieved by different ways and methodologies: a Congress-like activity, a scientific blog, a visit to the laboratory technician’s working day and some scientific games. Results show a high student’s participation in the activities, for instance, 77% of the students voluntarily made contributed with a video or poster, and 99% of the students actively participated in the games.
