This work has been partially supported by the Ministerio de Educacion y Ciencia (Spain) (CICYT AEN 90-0034)We apply the one-loop results of the SU(3)L X SU(3)R chiral perturbation theory supplemented with the inverse-amplitude method to fit the available experimental data on pipi and piK scattering. With essentially only three parameters we describe accurately data corresponding to six different channels: namely, (I,J) = (0,0), (2,0), (1,1), (1/2, 0), (3/2, 0), and (1/2, 1). In addition we reproduce the first resonances of the (1, 1) and (1/2, 1) channel with the right mass corresponding to the rho and the K* (892) particles.engGlobal fit of pi-pi and pi-K elastic-scattering in chiral perturbation-theory with dispersion-relationsjournal articlehttp://prd.aps.org/abstract/PRD/v47/i11/p4883_1http://prd.aps.orgopen access53Symmetry-Breaking SectorWeak-InteractionsOne LoopWw ScatteringForm-FactorsGev-CLagrangiansResonancesExpansionThresholdFísica (Física)22 Física
